The Students’ union is students’ organization in a university or college which provides welfare services and represents students’ political interest. This year also student union of St.Vincent Pallotti College has been formed as per the guidelines led down by Pt.Ravishankar Shukla University. The Students have been elected on merit basis.
The following shall be the office bearers of the student council: 1. President 2. Vice President 3. Secretary 4. Joint Secretary.
St. Vincent Pallotti College, Raipur (C.G.) held the formal ceremony of Oath taking on Monday, 10th January, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Seminar Hall conferring the authority and responsibility to the Office Bearers, Class Representatives of Student Union Council.The Chief Guest of the function was Shri. Aijaz Dhebar, Mayor, Municipal Corporation Raipur was welcomed and felicitated by Director Rev. Father Shanti Prakash Panna and Patron Dr. Kuldeep Dubey (Principal) by offering an aromatic floral bouquet. The Special Guest Shri Amitesh Bhardwaj,Parshad Kali Mata Ward, Raipur Nagar Palika Nigam was welcomed by Assistant Director Father Roshan Kindo and Vice – Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri.
The ceremony started with the beautiful welcome dance by BBA students. Dr.Kuldeep Dubey Principal of the college welcomed the guests with his inspiring words. He also briefed about college achievements in his speech. Mrs. Garima Tahiliani (Prof.Incharge Student Union) briefed about aims & objectives of college student union. Laxmi Sahu(President), Vanika Ramwani(Vice – President), Rebecca Raechel Anil (Secretary), Hanshika Singh (Joint Secretary) and Class representatives of different departments took oath which was led by Patron Dr.Kuldeep Dubey.
Special guest Shri Amitesh Bhatdwaj,Parshad,Kalimata ward,Raipur,in his speech spoke about contribution of the college towards the society and also ensured that as a Parshad he will always contribute his services in college development.
Chief guest Shri Aijaz Dhebar, Mayor, Raipur Nagar Nigam, in his motivational speech congratulated the elected Office Bearers & Class Representatives and advised them to take up their duties sincerely, faithfully and with full commitment. He highlighted the value of each single student, and said that they should uphold the values of the college and discharge their duties with utmost sincerity.
